Interview with Cassi (Yo Yo Dieting to 37 Pounds Lost With Ease)

Cassi is someone who had tried different diets, she did lose weight but gain it back. NOW...she is a coach in Lean With Plants! How did that happen?

Dieting History.


Cassi tried EVERY diet. 

Anything worked for her. She knew that she wanted to be vegan, with no animal products in her diet. But even if she lost weight, any diet worked, she gained the weight back.

She thought that her body was messed up until she came across Lean With Plants and understood that the KEY POINT for losing weight is CALORIE DEFICIT

 

Changes.


The light bulb moment she got to lose weight was when she understood the calorie density from food. At first, she got pretty confused around what food was high calorie and which one wasn’t. 

She tried to get around this calorie density thing with an app, but it was time-consuming and needed to be linked all the time with it. It wasn’t worth it! 

Lean With Plants helped her to understand this and she got the hang of it. 

Before getting to my program, she tried the Keto diet. Eating heavy meals and she just felt swollen all the time. As soon as she got to the program, she lost 8 pounds in two weeks!

 

Dealing With A Partner That Doesn’t Have The Same Diet.


Her husband tried the Keto diet, it worked for him. That’s why she tried this famous diet. 

He still eats meat, but most of the time, he is in a plant-based diet. He opened up to this vegan diet, supporting her.

Bonus point: he had lost weight too!

 

The important thing here is having COMMUNICATION! 

This would be the best you can do! It helps your partner to understand you and for you to understand him/her.

 

Top 2 Pieces Of Advice From Cassi.


#1 Get informed.

 

If you look for information about everything that goes into losing weight, you will know all the why’s from the process. For example, maybe you will gain weight at the beginning of trying a new diet, but you would know why it happened!

# 2 Try it.

Just do it! Do not be scare to try a new plant-based diet! Do not give up!! 

Of course, you would see different when you are trying a new diet. You don’t know how your body would react to it. But guess what? Trying it out would help you to know if it is for you or not...and if it doesn’t work, you can just move on.

 

A Change You Can Do Right Now.


EAT MORE VEGGIES. That’s it.

You won’t eat as much if you preload with veggies! You can reduce the overall calories by 25%!!

You don’t have to change anything else for now. This is an easy way to start losing weight and get used to a plant-based diet.

 

Conclusions.


You can still eat delicious food! The plant-based vegan diet is not a -just tofu and salad- kind of diet.

As I always tell you, this is a process! It takes time to lose weight. Don’t give up. It is going to be worth it in the end. Also, have the right mindset to start the process. When you get into a new diet, your taste would change, don’t get alarmed. 

Ask yourself this: Why am I eating the way I’m eating? 

Your meals have to protect your goals!! Be realistic and do not try to get fancy with them! You don’t have to change your menu every single week.
